Other than the original Gecko Central and Outreach Program, the Green Gecko Project now has many projects under their umbrella that reach out far beyond the Green Gecko gates; including Gecko Action – Humanitarian Youth Group, Young Adults’ Program, Tnai Samrap Srey and social enterprises and initiatives including Rehash Trash - Vocational Training for Women, Purple Mango - non-profit wellness centre, Silk Screen Printing Lab and Footprints Permaculture Farm. It goes way more than being a centre for children.
Footprints Farm
Footprints Farm is a flourishing permaculture farm of various vegetables, fruits and roaming animals. Not only does the farm deliver fresh, chemical-free food for Gecko, it also provides an outdoor classroom for all of our students, and employment and training opportunities for the local community and our young adults.

Rehash Trash
Rehash Trash is a Green Gecko social initiative that makes stylish stuff from roadside rubbish while providing a safe place for disadvantaged women to learn a skill and earn an income.

Purple Mango Wellness Centre
Purple Mango Wellness Centre provides treatment spaces for visiting and local practitioners from all forms of holistic therapies. Services provided are primarily offered to the expat community using an affordable fee structure, which then enables us to offer treatments to the Khmer community on a donations basis. Included in those treatments is a weekly dental clinic, offering fundamental dental care not only to the Gecko family but also to our extended Khmer community through our partner NGO network. We invite our practitioners to hold training programs and workshops to inspire young Khmer people to train in these areas.

Tnai Samrap Srey (Days for Girls)
Tnai Samrap Srey is a collaboration between The Green Gecko Project and like-minded allies Hearts to Harmony for a project inspired by - and in support of - Days for Girls International, an organisation that empowers days of education, health, safety and dignity for girls and women all over the world no matter what time of the month.

Gecko Action
Inspired by Rotary's youth group, Rotaract, the older Geckos decided that it was time to help others in their community. Together they have created Gecko Action and you will often find them gathered, buzzing with their new ideas for fundraising and assisting. So far sausages have sizzled, temples tidied, students provided with essential study materials and families fed.
